Had the calamari and chips. The calamari was so soft I could cut it with fork, nice batter so not greasy. Noteworthy that I don't usually like chips but I ordered one because I was so hungry, and I tell you the chips are soooo fresh. Huge portion which lasted me 3 meals but it was still good and soft until the next day! Will try the fish next time. Highly recommended!

I never pass Deal or Dover without eating here. It's the best in Kent in my view. Fish bites are lunch are my favourite. Five huge hunks like the size of a piece of KFC. Delicious and great value for money. I am a big eater and even I cannot get through the whole thing unless I am starving hungry Could feed two normal sized adults for £7. Amazing place (and plaice), don't miss it.

Oh my word! I have eaten fish and chips all over the UK and this is the best chip shop ever! The cod was thick and succulent and piping hot (even when we got home 10 mins later). Lovely friendly staff/owners. Pristine premises and it looks great too. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Yesterday evening we were visiting friends and we all had fish and chips. First time I have had fish and chips from the Castle Fish Bar and I have to say we were not disappointed, they were magnificent! Fish, white, flaky and tasty and the chips were the very best, golden and crispy, light fluffy inside. I don’t know what you cook them in…maybe Fairy Dust. Just perfect, thank you.

Absolutely loved grabbing our dinner from Castle Fish Bar. They had a wonderful menu with plenty of options for the entire family. We couldn’t decide and ended up ordering a sampling of different fish, hamburgers, chips and they staff was kind enough to give my kids some treats. Super friendly staff. No seats available so we took the food down to the beach and had our dinner there. This is a great spot.
